6.15pm – Intros and ‘Working on this Week’ session
group discussions about what we’re all working on, particular achievements we’re proud of from our work in the sector and sharing these successes with the group
6.45pm – ‘Anyone for Partnerships?’ Workshop session
facilitated group workshop of the different types/examples of partnership working in local government currently, how they operate now and how we would like them to operate in an ideal world (!), what is needed/desirable for the future and the local authorities role within that, our top 10 ideas to take back to our Councils
7.30pm - ‘From Graduate to Officer to Director- My career in Local Government’– Graham Bayliss, Director of Corporate Services, Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council
a local government speaker telling us about his career path and giving us some tips along the way
7.45pm – Questions & close
8.00pm – On to a local pub/eatery for anyone who fancies!
