#OurDay – 17 October 2013
What is #OurDay?
It’s a 24 hour tweetathon to raise the profile of the great work that happens every day in local councils and shout about the unsung heroes who work hard to provide services in their communities.
By the end of last year’s #OurDay over 4,000 twitter accounts had participated and over 760,000 people were reached, with elected members and officers from across the country taking part.
When is it?
Following the success of #OurDay last year, we will again be celebrating all things local government during Local Democracy Week with #OurDay 2013 on 17 October.
